The Discovery Call is our very first meeting where we learn what the product does, and how it works. We can start from a napkin sketch, or an already existing device to understand your vision and then bring your idea from concept to creation. Discovery Calls are FREE.

2.) Project Estimation

We'll quote the scope of the project, and the timeline to complete it. Then we send you a contract to begin work. We quote based off:

2.)  Material Costs

3.)  Tooling Costs

3.) Design & Analysis

The project begins! We work with you to create a Computer-Aided Design (CAD) model of your product that we can rotate, zoom, place in a realistic environment, and perform simulations. We use the best design and analysis software to simulate how the product will function in the real world, and make needed design iterations on the computer before anything gets built. 

Every assembly, component, bolt, and screw is defined as real parts, ready to be fabricated, and designed for manufacturing. We analyze and determine the best materials and manufacturing processes of every component to ensure your prototype and eventual product will be successful when you bring it into production.

4.) Prototype Fabrication

Prototypes allow you to see, feel and test your product before committing to high-volume manufacturing. We order and assemble the parts needed to fabricate and deliver your prototype in a timely manner and at a competitive price.

We work with a network of skilled fabricators allowing us access to all fabrication methods.

Depending on the project and your preferences, we will fabricate either a proof of concept prototype with 3D printing or a pre-production prototype. Once materials and aesthetics are decided, every feature is worked out, and the prototype is working successfully, we make final touches and modifications to prepare the design for high-volume manufacturing.

5.) Production

We work with our network of experienced manufacturers able to handle high-volume production, packaging, and shipping of your product. Our network is primarily in Washington State for ease of access and communication but we will also help you choose a qualified manufacturer in your preferred location.

At this step, your final, proven CAD model and drawings hold all the information needed to successfully fabricate your working product. It's just a matter of choosing a reliable manufacturing partner with the capabilities to make your product at a competitive price. Engineering Services and scope are agreed upon before the project begins and concluded once the deliverables are complete.
